Northern side supplies generous natural light without direct sunlight. Suggest to use wood blinds for privacy also plants for soft separation. There are existing shades covering this area (soccer field/courtyard). Vines are recommended to reduce rigid encloser.

Project Type: Feasibility Study / Adaptive Reuse. Education (2025) Clients: School of North America / Minh Hoang Phat Ltd. Firm: Studio Lê & Mathieson, Ltd.

The project comprises three main components: a common space, the bathrooms, and the housing units (boarding rooms). Scope of work includes the existing two classrooms, one Isolation room, one infirmary, an existing shared bathroom, and a corridor, located on the north side of the building at level 1. In addition, there’s also another bathroom adjacent to the pool area. The four existing classrooms are to be split into 8, and converted into boarding rooms, each of which requires 4 single beds, a shared table/desk, individual storage, a fridge, a dressing area, lighting for the common area, and lighting for the individual.
